Oahu’s North Shore is the home to many of the world’s premier surfing spots. During the winter months, big waves draw crowds of surfers as well as onlookers to the North Shore. The waves subside in the summer giving way to some of the most beautiful beaches and crystal clear water you could imagine. Along with the surfing, whale watching, kayaking, snorkeling, boating, fishing, horseback riding, and hiking are some of many outdoor activities that the North Shore has to offer.
Haleiwa town is the central hub of the North Shore, a gathering place for the smaller outlying communities. Residents and visitors flock to the bustling cafes, restaurants, shops, and galleries bringing together a mix of people from all over the world.
